Our story

I made these for my team before I made them for anyone else.

I'm Liv. I played volleyball at Texas and started OUTPLAY at 18, in my dorm room, because I couldn't find anything that did what I actually needed it to do.

Then my teammates started stealing them.

I wasn't building a company. I was trying to get through two-a-days.

First my roommate. Then the setters. Then the whole team.

Then teams we played against started asking.

It turned out not to be a D1 problem.

The bars went to college programs first, then pro teams. But most of the people who write to us now aren't playing at that level.

A high school setter whose mom orders a case. A dad who plays rec league on Thursdays. Someone who runs three mornings a week and is tired of eating something that tastes like a punishment.

Same problem. You're doing the work. You should be fed for it.

What we're building

Carb-forward should be a category, not a niche.

Protein has owned that shelf for twenty years. We think there's room for food built around the thing your body actually runs on when you move.

We're starting with a bar that tastes like a cookie.
