No. It is a high-carb bar meant to be eaten before you go play. There is 5g of plant protein in there to help once your body starts working through the carbs on longer or harder days, but protein is not the point.
One to two hours before a workout, practice, or game works well. Plenty of people eat one mid-workout or on the sideline. Pro and college teams go through them during timeouts.

Yes. Almonds are in every bar, and Peanut Butter Chocolate contains peanuts. Read the label carefully if you have a nut allergy.
